Sport Management

offers a comprehensive training in general and sport specific economics, applied computer
science as well as recreational and health oriented sport economics. This diversified offer
qualifies students for leading positions in a variety of occupational areas, e.g. commercial
sport facilities, professional sport and event bureaus, marketing agencies, sport clubs and
organizations in sport tourism. It is possible to specialize in either sport tourism or sport
marketing, which leads to an overall understanding of these institutions. The main focus
of this program is on economic subjects and electives and optional courses, that are
characteristic for sport and recreational management. These are supplemented by lectures
in law, ecology and psycology, as well as vocational projects.
