LON-CAPA at Source Talk Days

Initiated by the Institute for Mathematics at Göttingen University there will be two LON-CAPA events during this years  Source Talk ­Days. These events will be co-organized by the LON-CAPA group at Ostfalia University. Most likely we will also be joined by Gerd Kortemeyer of the LON-CAPA core team at Michigan State University.

The LON-CAPA events will take place on Sep 1-2, 2010 at the Institute for Mathematics at Göttingen University. Göttingen can conveniently be reached by train with the venue being in walking distance from the main station. There is a limited contingent of specially priced hotel rooms available if booked prior to Aug 1st, 2010.

Sep 1, 2010: LON-CAPA Community Meeting

Supposedly the first community meeting on the old continent is intended to be similar to the annual international  LON-CAPA conferences. It serves the user community to exchange ideas and experiences. Alongside the meeting will offer special trainings on advanced topics, such as new functionality, problem authoring with maxima and R, conditions in problems, bubblesheet exams and clickers or domain coordination. 

Sep 2, 2010: LON-CAPA Trainings

The trainings will cover course coordination in LON-CAPA and authoring of problems within LON-CAPA.
