Together with the district's economic and tourism company (wito gmbh), Ostfalia held an event on the topic of "digitization within companies" for the first time this July. Five companies from the district (Goy&Balke, Rausch Schokolade, Achat Engineering, Pawils Elektromaschinenbau and Fitesa Germany) were invited to a round table in Ilsede to discuss long-term cooperation opportunities, such as research projects and dual study programmes, with five professors from the faculties of computer science, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.
