Call for admission to the The ‘G. Leopardi’ School of Advanced Studies of the University of Macerata (IT) FOR FIRST YEAR STUDENTS OF MASTER’S DEGREE COURSES

The ‘G. Leopardi’ School of Advanced Studies of the University of Macerata announces for the academic year 2021/22 a competition for  2 PLACES for students who enroll in the  FIRST YEAR OF MASTER’S DEGREE COURSES at the University of Macerata.

The School, established by the University of Macerata in 2008, is a university institute of higher studies that runs alongside university courses aimed at obtaining a Bachelor's and Master's Degree, with the task of organizing advanced seminars of an innovative and interdisciplinary nature, in order to promote the highest and most qualified preparation of students and start them to specific research activities.

The School of Advance Studies is divided into two Classes:

  • Class of Humanities: for students enrolling in courses of study of the Departments of Humanities - languages, mediation, history, literature, philosophy; Education Sciences, Cultural Heritage and Tourism
  • Class of Social Sciences: for students enrolling in the courses of study of the Departments of Law; Economics and Law; Political Sciences, Communication and International Relations.

Admission to the School takes place on the exclusive basis of merit through public selection aimed at ascertaining the preparation of candidates, talent, motivations and potential for cultural and professional development. Applications must be submitted by  10 September 2021 at 12.00 and the tests will be held on 13, 14 and 15 September 2021.

The acquisition of the status of student of the School confers important facilities: university fees, free board and accommodation, as well as the assistance of qualified tutors.

Maintaining student status requires a high standard of performance in university courses and in-house courses.
