On October 6 ^th 2020, producing SMEs were invited by the Allianz für die Region GmbH and Ostfalia University to an Industry 4.0 informative event. Dr.-Ing. Gerrit Posselt, founder and managing director of the BeSu Solutions GmbH, kicked off the afternoon at the TRAFO Hub in Brunswick with his keynote speech "Digitizing with ease! - How Game-based Learning can help to support the digital transformation".

After this interesting keynote about a modern and effective form of knowledge transfer, the guests were invited to network and exchange thoughts with the Ostfalia exhibitors about the demonstrators they had brought along: technologies from the research areas Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Augmented Reality, 3D printing and robotics were presented. In addition, interested companies were offered the opportunity to perform an "Industry 4.0 Readiness Self-Check" by the German Engineering Association (VDMA) with the support of Ostfalia.

There was a lively exchange of ideas over snacks and drinks, and points of contact were established for further cooperation. The "Digital Flashlights" event was a complete success not only in terms of technology transfer.
