Third Intercultural Business Workshop Online on 23rd April 2022, organised by the Faculty of Business

Prof. Dr. Mike Hoffmeister from the Faculty of Business at Ostfalia successfully organised the Third Intercultural Business Workshop Online with over 80 students from more than 15 countries. The participants worked in intercultural mixed groups on the topics of Leadership, University Education and Future Work.

Students from all over the world who participated in the online workshop.


Part of the workshop were discussions about working across cultures in times of digitalisation as well as questioning the role of international experience in improving the cultural intelligence of students. The main goal of this workshop was to gain intercultural experience and competencies.

In addition to the overwhelmingly positive feedback from the students, it was also a great experience for the lecturers. As well as the students they came from many different countries such as Dr. Roger Muller from the Nelson Mandela University in South Africa, Kelly Duhaime from the Northwood University in the USA, Michael Heinrich from the Hotel Institute Montreux in Switzerland and Manjeera Karunaratne from the ANC American National College in Sri Lanka.
