The project geo:base, with a project volume of 991,298 euros, has been approved. Geo:base is funded by the 6th Energy Research Program of the federal government. The aim of the project is the energetic and ecological optimisation of operational and control strategies for complex energy supply systems on the basis of near-surface geothermal energy in commercial and non-residential buildings. The project is conducted together with RWTH Aachen University.
