Target of the study

The target of the study is to research digital trust at the workplace. It will lead to suggestions and action how to create a trustful environment and culture within modern companies. Several publications are planned, workshops and conferences to communicate the results.

Theoretical Basis

Theories and principles included in this study are Forrester Social Technologic Ladder, Decision-making models, Technology Adoption Theory, Management Theory, Software Quality Model, General Data Protection Regulation Principles, Digital Citizenship Principles, and Caldicott Principles.

Pre-Test, Test-re-Test and HCI Test in 2019

The pre-testing of the questionnaire in 9 languages has been conducted in 2019. It was a Test-re-Test, Pre-Test and HCI test performed with over 380 participants internationally. The study was first introduced at the ICBIM Conference in Paris, France, in September 2019 by Prof. Dr. Markus Launer.

Kick Off Main Study January 2020

As of January 2020, the main study will take place for about 6 month. It is targeted to collect 100-300 answers per country depending on the size of the state. This does not lead to a representative sample but will give enough evidence to support a new theory.

Publications and international Conferences

Target is to publish the results in international journals and contribute to international academic conferences. In addition, an international Service Management Congress will be held at the Ostfalia University Campus Suderburg on May 25-27, 2020 and early 2021.
