IoT / IIoT Research Group

The IoT / IIoT research group deals with all technologies and process models relevant to the further development and use of IoT, especially the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).

IoT / IIoT is an interdisciplinary research group in which the participants from the faculties of electrical engineering and information technology, computer science and mechanical engineering bring their expert knowledge together:

  • Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)
  • Industry 4.0 (I4.0)
  • Communication systems
  • I4.0 security
  • Tribology (for damage pattern recognition)
  • Control of manufacturing systems
