Digital Technologies

Digital Technologies is a cooperative study program of Clausthal University of Technology and Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences. In this program, both universities convey knowledge in topics of tomorrow. To do so, they merge their regional rootedness, their close connection of sciences, engineering and economics with their large network and their good contacts to companies and external institutions.

Bachelor program (B.Sc.)

In this practice-oriented interdisciplinary Bachelor program students develop competencies for successful digitalization - in industry, research and administration, where computer science is often closely linked to the field of application. Computer science courses form the foundation of this program. Already in the second semester, students choose their individual field of application. From Ostfalia, the Computer Science Faculty, the Faculties of Electrical Engineering, Karl-Scharfenberg, Engineering and Supply Engineering are involved. On the part of TU Clausthal, the Faculties of Mathematics/Computer Science, Engineering and Applied Metrology take part. The knowledge of both areas, computer science and field of application, is connected in digitalization projects. Already from the first semester, students work on solving practice-relevant tasks.

Master program (M.Sc.)

The practice-oriented interdisciplinary Master program is characterized by the unique interlinking of computer science, six interesting fields of application and interdisciplinary digitalization projects. In only four semesters, this interlinking turns students into experts of digitalization, its technologies and of digital transformation.

From Ostfalia, the Computer Science Faculty, the Faculties of Electrical Engineering, Karl-Scharfenberg, Engineering and Supply Engineering are involved in the fields of application. On the part of TU Clausthal, the Faculties of Mathematics/Computer Science, Engineering and Applied Metrology take part.
