Energy determines our time as one of the dominant topics: its environmentally friendly extraction and its rational use determine the standard of living that we still want to afford in the future. In terms of sustainability, biotechnology in particular is playing an increasingly important role. The industry is intensively looking for engineers who are as familiar with energy production, distribution and use as they are with the topics of biotechnology, the protection of the environment and the climate.
