Our Dean of Studies, Dr. Hedda Sander and Vice President for Research, Development and Technology Transfer, Prof. Gert Bikker participated in the second International Conference on Sustainable Globalization held in Kochi, India on 10-12 / 01/2019. The conference promotes an international and inter-sectoral network of participants working on sustainable globalization, with several sessions covering sub-themes such as education, tourism, the environment and IT, and bringing companies and universities together for application and project development. Dr. Sander was one of three organizers of the conference, which she co-chairs with Prof. Abey Kuruvilla, University of Wisconsin at Parkside, USA, and Prof. Robinet Jacob, Mahatma Gandhi University, India. She was also the lead editor of the Conference - Proceedings, Session Leader and Moderator of the Internationalization Panel of six colleges and universities. In his function as Vice President, Prof. Bikker assumed the representation and representation of the Ostfalia University, especially with regard to research and internationalization topics.
