In the Braunschweig-Wolfsburg region, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are being supported on their path to digitization by Allianz für die Region GmbH and Ostfalia. This has been made possible by the Interreg project "Growing into Industry 4.0 – Accelerate growth in manufacturing SMEs (short title: GrowIn 4.0)", which launched on 1 August 2017. Of particular importance to this project is the transnational cooperation involved, with 15 partners from Belgium, Denmark, Germany, England and the Netherlands working together across national borders.
