FH Europa: 1st International Research Week at the Universities of Applied Sciences Harz and Ostfalia

REGISTRATION

In order to increase international research activities, Ostfalia University of Applied Science aims at strengthening direct contacts between researchers at the European level and beyond. Within the framework of the project international contacts between researchers will be established, existing ones deepened and thus joint applications in the Horizon Europe Programme (HEU) promoted.

In order to achieve these goals, Ostfalia and Harz Universities of Applied Sciences are planning their first joint “International Research Week”. Primarily, researchers from partner universities will be invited, however, also those from universities with which no previous activities have existed should be invited. During the cooperation in the preceding project weR-NEAR, which has been successfully completed, comprehensive research focuses were defined at both universities and those involved were brought together. Thus, the focus remains on the second pillar of HEU “Global challenges and European industrial competitiveness”.

The project's objective:

  • further internationalisation of the research strategy at Ostfalia,
  • strengthening of international cooperation between the involved researchers,
  • concrete applications in European research programmes,
  • an increased visibility on an international level.

The project:

  • Duration: 01.07.2022 to 31.07.2023
  • Project Management: Prof. Dr. Gert Bikker
  • Project budget: 70.000 €
  • Project funding: Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Research at Universities of Applied Science, funding code 13FH030EA0
