BELS represented at UN Summer Academy in Bonn - Bringing the 2030 Agenda to life

Brunswick European Law School was represented by Anna-Theresia Krein at the UN Summer Academy from 27th-31st of August 2018 at House Carstanjen at the UNSSC Knowledge Centre for Sustainable development in Bonn. An engaging 5-day programme was provided which fostered rich interaction on issues relevant to the work of the UN and its partners to concretely implement the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement. Featured were panel discussions, solution oriented workshops (AppLabs), excursions as well as a story fair. Different stakeholders and representatives from all over the world and from different fields, such as NGOs, academics, business and administration gathered to discuss different ways of implementation and reporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Several diverse challenges were addressed as well as an ongoing forum for dialogue and networking created.
