Admission requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's degree with at least 210 credit points (CP)
  • Alternatively: Bachelor's degree with 180 ECTS credits, if an additional 30 ECTS credits can be proven:
    • Further elective (compulsory) modules from the Bachelor's degree programme
    • Modules from another degree programme that has not been completed
    • professional or academic activities
  • At least one year of qualified professional experience

Admission is also possible if not all requirements have been met. You can acquire missing credit points during your studies by taking modules from other specialisations. Missing qualified professional experience can be made up for through appropriate professional activity.

Programme content

Programme content

The degree programme focuses on practice-oriented examinations, such as papers, assignments or presentations via web conference. Only a few examinations are held in person.

You will acquire the following skills, among others:

  • Development and successful implementation of innovations, products and business models
  • Communication and leadership skills for appreciative, open teamwork
  • Analysing and evaluating key business figures, controlling and accounting
  • Basic knowledge of economic policy and business ethics

You choose one of four specialisations (retail, energy management, marketing or accounting & controlling) and can already set your own focus in the research project before the Master's thesis.

Study costs

The total fee for the online Master's degree programme in Business Administration is 7,920 euros. The fifth and sixth semesters are free of charge. From the seventh semester onwards, there is a fee of 1,980 euros per semester. In addition, there are the regular semester fees, costs for internet use and travelling expenses for attendance and examination phases.

Study programme

Your online Master's degree programme in Business Administration is consistently designed for flexibility and compatibility. You can customise the intensity of your studies by deciding for yourself how many modules you take each semester. This allows you to combine your studies, career and personal commitments in the best possible way.

The course content is available to you at any time on the Moodle learning platform. Weekly live web conferences in the evening help you to understand the content, but are also recorded for you. One optional attendance weekend per semester offers the opportunity to get to know lecturers and fellow students in person and to work together on practical tasks.

Exam dates are set at the beginning of the semester. Examinations are offered on site in Suderburg on two selectable dates. Semester-long examinations such as term papers or presentations can be individually organised and usually supervised online. This allows you to organise your studies exactly according to your needs.
