What does "alumnae/alumni" actually mean?

Alumnae/Alumni originally comes from Latin and means something like "protégé" or "pupil". Today, it stands for a lively, diverse community of alumni who remain connected to their university - and often return with exciting experiences, ideas and stories. Anyone who has travelled a part of their journey with us is part of it!

Regardless of whether you have just graduated or have been working for a long time, our alumni network is there for everyone who wants to stay in touch with the university after their time at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
