The Practice Office of the Faculty of Social Work in Wolfenbüttel is the central interface between theory and practice. It organises internships for students, provides support in the search for suitable placements and advises on all practical requirements. Through close contact with practice partners, it promotes dialogue between the university and the professional world. The Practice Office accompanies you from your first practical experience through to state recognition, helping to ensure the quality of your education and strengthen your professional skills.

Your foundation for social work - before your studies
Gain important initial practical experience over 12 weeks, which is a prerequisite for your successful enrolment. This will give you valuable insights into the professional field of social work before you start your studies. An FSJ or Federal Voluntary Service can be recognised under certain circumstances. - Work shadowing and internship
