Interlibrary Lending and Acquisition Proposal

You tell us the literature you require and we will order books and copies of articles for you. Cost per order: 1.50 EUR. Additional charges may apply for copies of 20 pages or more.

You can check the GVK catalogue (external link, opens in a new window) in advance to see whether media can be ordered via interlibrary loan. If you cannot find anything there, please contact us.

End user interlibrary lending

Do you order a lot of interlibrary loans and would like to order them yourself from the comfort of your own home? Then you can register in the library for end-user interlibrary loan. As long as you have credit on your end-user interlibrary loan account, you can order items yourself in the union catalogue (choose from the GVK-PLUS catalogues in the university network).

Please note:
Since January 2019, all end-user interlibrary loan accounts whose user activity dates back more than three years to the time of deletion have been deleted on an annual basis in January of each year using an external deletion routine. According to the legal assessments of the facts of the case known to the Network Head Office and FAG, it can be assumed that the users' claims against the library are time-barred upon expiry of the deadline. The credit balance on the account therefore also expires.

The cost per order is between 9.00 and 25.00 euros, depending on your place of residence, the intended use and the location of the delivery library.
