Research Ethics Committee
The Senate Commission for Research Ethics provides advice to scientists at Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences in Wolfenbüttel, as well as to other universities and institutions with which it collaborates, on the ethical aspects of research projects. In particular, committee members assess the ethical and legal implications of non-medical research involving humans.
The Senate Commission on Research Ethics can only vote on research projects prior to their realisation; in other words, the empirical research work must not yet have begun.
The Executive Committee of the DFG has prepared a statement on the impact of generative models on science and the DFG's funding activities. You can view this paper here in German: 'Statement of the DFG Executive Committee (external link, opens in a new window)'.
