Pool and peripheral rooms
The Computer Centre provides pool rooms and rooms for generally accessible peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.) at all Ostfalia University campuses, which are set up according to the "sit down and get started" principle.
You can find out where these rooms are located and when you can use them in the following descriptions for each campus.
Pool and peripheral rooms at the Salzgitter campus
Where are the pool and peripheral rooms located?
- Pool room P1
Building A, 1st floor, room 01, number of seats: 10 (including teacher) - Pool room P2
Building A, 1st floor, room 03, number of places: 19 (including teachers) - Pool room P3
Building A, 1st floor, room 04, number of seats: 22 (including teachers) - Peripheral room (printer room)
Building A, 1st floor, room 16, number of seats: 6
When are the rooms open?
- During the lecture periods:
All rooms from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 19:00
Access is possible without an Ostfalia Card.
Outside these times, only the pool room P3 and the printer room are accessible with an Ostfalia Card. - During the lecture-free periods:
Pool room P3 and the printer room from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 19:00
Access is possible without an Ostfalia Card.
Outside these times, the rooms mentioned are accessible with an Ostfalia Card . All other rooms are closed. - At all other times, the pool roomscan only be booked by staff and lecturers (e.g. for attendance examinations) via the central service centre for building management (ZSE GEB).

When are the rooms open?
- During the lecture periods:
All rooms from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 19:00

Who can use these rooms?
Pool room P5 is freely available to students.
All other pool rooms are available for face-to-face examinations, lectures etc. and can only be booked by staff and lecturers via the central service centre for building management (ZSE GEB).

At the same time, the electronic opening or closing of the room must be requested from the central building management service centre (ZSE GEB).
