New students have many questions. In addition to brochures with important information about Ostfalia, we will provide you with a mentor to help you settle into university life during this initial phase.

At our welcome event, you will get to know the university management, central departments and facilities personally and can network with other new colleagues. At Ostfalia, the distances on each campus are short and the doors are open.

Are you curious and want to expand your knowledge abroad? With the ERASMUS-funded staff mobility programme, you can also gain new ideas and valuable inspiration on the international stage by gaining a personal insight into the work processes of other universities and educational institutions.

For example, we arrange work shadowing or participation in seminars at foreign partner universities or at institutions in programme countries that are active in areas such as general and vocational education or youth.

We support all employees in optimising their work and preparing for future challenges in their working lives.

This includes university didactics, coaching, internal further and advanced training, e.g. for your management role or for team development, special offers from our Centre for Teaching and Learning as well as seminars for inter-university further education (external link, opens in a new window).
