Placement tests

For those interested in studying at Ostfalia:

• This test is intended solely for self-assessment.
• Please work independently and without any aids. Only then can you expect a realistic grading.
• This test is a C-test. Corresponding examples and information can be found here.

• Complete the test on a PC or use a free app (e.g., Adobe Acrobat Reader) to fill out the PDF form on your smartphone.
• Please send your completed test to: einstufung-deutsch-zs(at)ostfalia.de. This will allow us to assess your current level of German proficiency.
• If you are also interested in a specific degree program at Ostfalia, feel free to let us know, and we will tell you which language level is required for that program.

For Ostfalia students:

If you have no previous knowledge of Spanish, you can enrol in a beginners' course.

Students with previous knowledge of Spanish must take a mandatory placement test. Depending on the result, students will be recommended a course suitable for their language level.
