Healthy university
After a strenuous day, exercise is the best way to relax. We are committed to strengthening and maintaining your health. With our exercise and sports programme, you can find balance in your everyday life.
The university-sponsored Healthy Ostfalia initiative develops concepts, workshops and seminars to promote health and well-being.
Working together healthily
Our health management starts with ergonomic and safe workplace design. We offer height-adjustable desks that can be customised to your individual needs.
We also offer short exercise breaks, the "Pausenexpress", directly at the workplace.
Are you a real sports enthusiast? With our sports and health events, you will get your money's worth both individually and as a team. Your participation in many internal and external courses is encouraged.
Christian Köhn: "Ostfalia's university sports programme is interesting for students and staff."
"I started with the running club and badminton. Since then, I've also regularly taken part in the running events in the region that are organised by university sports. in 2019, I took over the running club and the HIT course (high-intensity interval training) as a course leader. Exercising is a good balance to my work in the office and I really enjoy it. In addition, our Finance and Controlling department has been taking part in the Pausenexpress once a week as part of the health programme for several years."
