About us
Here you will find information on sports and exercise courses and special events (Ostfalia N8's, beach tournaments, running and cycling events) at the four Ostfalia campuses. You can take part in all the programmes and have a positive impact on your health and the community.
The programmes are only for Ostfalia students and staff. This means, for example, that you can play handball, badminton or fitness together with other Ostfalia students.
You can find us on site at the Am Exer campus in Wolfenbüttel and we work together with the AStA sports officers.

Good to know
Find out more to promote your health
In addition to the normal sports courses, there are also special courses for health. These are called BGF courses. "BGF" is the abbreviation for "Workplace Health Promotion" and is just a label that is important for our employees. Students can simply book these courses and take part just like any other sports course. For example, we call a yoga course "BGF Yoga" and you can find the BGF courses in the sports programme under "B".
BGF courses are offered in cooperation with the health management team.
Jobs in university sports
Would you like to combine your hobby and work or gain experience in the world of sport? Then you've come to the right place! There are various opportunities to work in university sports - after school, during your studies or afterwards.
Taking part in competitions and organising top-class sport
Ostfalia organises its own competitions, for example the sport-specific university sports tournaments. These are open to all levels of our students.
Students who are involved in top-class sport can also take part in major student competitions organised by the German University Sports Association (adh). The competitions are called the German University Championship (DHM), German University Cup (DHP) and "adh open". If you would like to take part in these competitions, either individually or as part of a team, please send an email to hochschulsport@ostfalia.de.
We would also like to make it possible for you to combine top-class sport with your studies. We are happy to provide you with support and advice.
