The Research Service supports researchers throughout their scientific work, from the application process and ethical reviews to the exploitation and communication of research results. The Research Service also promotes the visibility of scientific achievements through targeted science communication, and helps researchers to secure and commercially exploit inventions and patents.

- Digital marketplace: A platform for searching and bidding for universities and companies. The marketplace is open to all sectors who are specifically looking for something or would like to offer something for use themselves.
- InnoCheck: With the InnoCheck, you can assess your own company's innovative capacity based on various fields of action.
- Demonstrator catalog: The “Ostfalia I4.0 Catalogue” illustrates the potential of digitalization measures and shows technical ways in which companies can take steps towards digitalization in the most time-, resource- and cost-saving way possible. The catalog also offers incentives to see the technologies in use at the university and to discuss opportunities for cooperation to develop them.
