Activities for alumnae and alumni

Are you looking for offers from your faculty specifically for alumnae and alumni or would you like to get back in touch with your former institute or research department?

Simply get in touch with the contact person at your former campus with your enquiry. We will be happy to put you in touch.

We are curious to know what you can do with our university degree and where you are working today. Your opinion is also very important for our quality assurance. What did we do right during your studies, what can be improved?

Your feedback is both a corrective and a motivation for us.

For this reason, we survey our former students at regular intervals. In autumn/winter 2025/26, we will survey our graduates of the 2024 graduating class (winter semester 2023/24 and summer semester 2024). If you belong to the address group and do not receive a letter or e-mail with the required access code in autumn 2025, we would be grateful for your feedback (to alumni@ostfalia.de).

Lifelong learning
The only constant is change - against the backdrop of changing social and economic conditions and in the face of globalisation, lifelong learning is becoming increasingly important. Our postgraduate Master's programmes make a significant contribution to this.

In addition to faculties and institutes, Ostfalia University also has two foundations.

The Ostfalia Hochschulstiftung is a trust foundation under the umbrella of the Braunschweig Community Foundation.

Strengthening the region for the future is the common goal of both foundations.
Income from the foundation's capital strengthens research and teaching in the long term. For example, we award scholarships for students and support interdisciplinary projects.

The Erich-Zillmer-Stiftung grants interest-free loans to students who are in financial need through no fault of their own. We would like to continue to provide our students with unbureaucratic help in the future through this type of monetary support.

Our sponsors form the basis for our foundations: With their regular donations, they make our work possible. Commitment through donations plays a key role for both our foundations. We would be delighted to welcome you as a sponsor.
