About our faculty

Computer science: practical relevance and solid training

Computer scientists are missed everywhere: in IT companies, start-ups, banks, large corporations. Our faculty cooperates with over 60 companies, and last winter semester, almost 80 students started Computer Science and Business Computer Science degree programmes with integrated vocational training, meaning they already have their potential employer at the start of their studies.

Most of our professors have worked in industry for a long time, have many contacts and supervise team projects and, in particular, final theses in cooperation with our practice companies. You will learn how to use practical programming languages and many other tools.

Right in the beginning we focus on training software programming. Here you will learn the trade of computer science. You don't need any previous knowledge, but you should have a keen interest in developing solutions.

Almost all of our Bachelor's students directly write their final thesis in companies, and many work as student trainees from an early stage.
