The Ostfalia library in Suderburg has around 50,000 items of specialist literature on subjects including construction, geology, psychology, social work, hydraulic engineering and economics. The reading room with its balcony offers a versatile and quiet working atmosphere with comfortable workstations and a group study room, which is also open outside library opening hours. There is also a self-checkout system for independent borrowing of media, as well as a book supervision scanner and copying and scanning equipment for use.
