What is the portal?

The Ostfalia University portal has nothing to do with the applicant portal. As soon as you have been admitted to the degree programme, the applicant portal will be closed for you.

The portal is the central point of contact for your studies and the available services. You can access all important(web) services from here. At the same time, the portal will also register you for these services.

The portal provides you with a web application that you can use to manage your account in self-service.

After logging in, you will be informed about new e-mails and the latest news on the portal's homepage. You can use the portal to access the e-mail service and data management, obtain software, manage your print jobs, change your password and address and log in and out of exams, for example.

First login to the portal

Always use the latest version of your browser to access the portal. The browser settings must allow JavaScript and cookies.

You will need your access code and initial password to log in for the first time. You will find both on the account certificate for the IT infrastructure.

After logging in for the first time, you must change the password for your account. Think carefully about your new password. The security of your account depends crucially on the password being chosen and used carefully.
