Research Data Management

Ostfalia University is part of the State Initiative Research Data Management Lower Saxony (external link, opens in a new window). The aim of the project is to promote the development and expansion of a suitable and efficient research data management system at the participating universities in Lower Saxony. Methods and standards required for RDM are to be identified, taking into account the specific framework conditions of universities and specialist disciplines. Based on this, knowledge transfer services for researchers will be designed.

A strong focus is being placed on information, training and supporting researchers and students through central structures and services.

In the Ostfalia RDM Wiki (external link, opens in a new window), university members can find information, resources, and tips for efficient research data management. (Only in German.)

The monthly FDM NDS newsletter provides information on current developments, offers, and events. Sign up under this link (external link, opens in a new window) to stay up to date.
