Salzgitter Library - Group study room C 0.13.1 closed on 12.12.2025
The group study room C 0.13.1 in the Salzgitter library is exceptionally closed for general use due to a workshop as part of the media forum on
Friday, 12.12.2025 is exceptionally closed for general use.
The workstations in the reading room, the quiet workstations and the group room C 0.13.2 will be available as usual.

Opening hours of the Ostfalia libraries at the end of the year
On Monday, 22 December 2025 and Tuesday, 23 December 2025, all Ostfalia library locations will be open at reduced hours:
Wolfenbüttel: 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m
Wolfsburg: 09.00 to 15.00 hrs
Salzgitter: 09.30 to 14.00
Suderburg: 09.00 to 13.00
Wednesday, 24.12.2025 up to and including Friday, 02.01.2026 all Ostfalia libraries will be closed!
From Monday, 05 January 2026, the regular opening hours of the semester will apply again.
Please remember to return your books or extend your loan periods in good time!

Suderburg Library – Semester opening hours changed
Please note! The opening hours for the Ostfalia Library in Suderburg have been adjusted for the 2025/26 winter semester.
During the 2025/26 winter semester, the library in Suderburg will now open at 9:30 a.m. and close earlier from Tuesday to Friday. Please refer to our website for the new closing times.
