Over the next few years, many new professorships will be filled at Ostfalia and numerous other universities of applied sciences (HAW).

However, very well-qualified young academics initially associate the job of professor with the university.

Yet we at HAW offer a job with the best prospects. After all, studying does not always mean university. Almost half of all students are enrolled at a UAS. This practice-oriented type of university is becoming increasingly popular.

The requirements profile for our professors differs fundamentally from that of universities. The career paths to a HAW professorship are as varied as the job advertisements.
