We emphasise good collegial and structured support when taking on a professorship. Your faculty can prepare and organise this arrival process individually. Take advantage of the opportunities to exchange ideas with colleagues to gain initial insights into more informal procedures and processes and to establish networks within the university.

Learning students

Teaching and learning connects us

The team at Ostfalia's Centre for Successful Teaching and Learning (ZeLL) supports you in all matters relating to teaching in a wide variety of formats. We see teaching and learning as a joint task and integrate the further qualification and networking of our university's teaching staff into our programmes. The programmes are open to all status groups, because teaching and learning unites us. You can help shape the programme with your enquiries.

You can expectimpulses for teaching in the workshops that are regularly offered in September. Semester-accompanying continuing education programmes connect you with teachers from all disciplines and locations of Ostfalia and deepen your knowledge of innovative teaching concepts, didactic approaches and digital tools. Accompanying observations and coaching sessions ensure individual and concrete implementation in your courses. We also moderate and accompany qualitative evaluations for you, in which students provide targeted feedback on their learning in specific courses or study programmes
