Qualification for HAW professorship

As part of the "UAS Personnel" programme, the federal and state governments support the development and implementation of university and location-specific concepts for new ways of recruiting and qualifying young professors at universities of applied sciences (UAS) and universities of applied sciences (UAS).

Personnel development and promotion of young talent

The PRoProf project (optimising personnel development and recruiting for professorships) was set up at Ostfalia for this purpose. This provides for the development of an overall concept for personnel marketing, personnel development and the promotion of young talent for professorships at Ostfalia.

We support you individually and effectively

In order to fulfil the conditions for a professorship, certain qualifications and requirements must be met.

In order to promote young professors, Ostfalia University offers target group-specific further education and training as well as a special tandem programme for doctoral candidates to gain the necessary professional experience outside the university.

Ostfalia would also like to actively support promising graduates and employees in starting and carrying out a doctoral project as part of a cooperative doctorate by providing advice and information. The aim is to focus on doctoral candidates on their career path to a HAW professorship at Ostfalia University and to give them greater visibility.
