Digital Technologies (B.Sc.)
We wish you a successful beginning of your studies
in winter semester 2026/27
We offer a number of additional programmes to ensure the best possible start to your studies. We recommend attending our preliminary maths course before you start your studies. This starts two weeks before the start of lectures at Ostfalia. More information can be found further down on this page.

September 07th - 18th, 2026 Maths pre-course (in German language; registration required)
Registration for the maths pre-course (external link, opens in a new window) is from June, 06th until September, 02nd, 2026.
The maths pre-course starts on September, Monday 07th,2026. Time and room information after registration for this class.
The preparatory maths course serves to refresh school maths knowledge with a special focus on the knowledge required later in the degree course and is held in the rooms of the Faculty of Computer Science/IT in German language. This also gives everyone the opportunity to get to know some of our lecturers, the rooms and their first fellow students before you start your degree programme.
September 21st, 2026 / 10:00 a.m. - First semester welcome by the Presidential Board
The central welcome event for first-year students from the Faculties of Computer Science, Supply Engineering - Energy, Environment, Facility Management, and Law - Brunswick European Law School will take place on September 21st, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the auditorium (Aula) at Salzdahlumer Str. 46/48.
Students can look forward to a varied program featuring a welcome address by the university executive board, an interactive quiz hosted by the university sports department, live music, and the presentation of the second BRAWO Public Welfare Award. Afterward, the General Students' Committee (AStA) will offer campus tours. Following the event in the auditorium, the program continues in the cafeteria and the glass corridor with an activity zone. There, until 1:00 p.m., students will have the opportunity to take part in various interactive activities and socialize in a relaxed atmosphere over pretzels, waffles, and drinks.
September 21st, 2026/ 03:00 p.m. - First semester welcome for the degree programme
The first semester welcome for the Bachelor's degree programme in Digital Technologies will take place on September 21st 2026 at 03:00 p.m. at GoTec, Am Stollen 19C in Goslar.
