Senate
Tasks
- Monitoring the work of the Presidential Board, right to comprehensive information from the Presidential Board
- Deciding on the appointment or dismissal of members of the Presidential Board
- Opinion on matters of principle, e.g. the establishment, modification and closure of faculties as well as the introduction, significant modification and closure of degree programmes
- Participation in appointments
- Election of the full-time Equal Opportunities Officer on the recommendation of the Equal Opportunities Commission
- Deciding on development planning and the equal opportunities plan in agreement with the Presidential Board
- Must be consulted before a decision is made on the business plan
- Must be informed about the conclusion of a target agreement

The meetings of the Senate are chaired by the President.
