Faculty of Supply Engineering – Energy, Environment, Facility Management

On the pulse of time. Our focus areas: Energy, buildings, neighbourhoods, economy and environment.

Over 50 years on the job - but super fresh at the start! Then as now, we focus on high-quality and interdisciplinary specialist training. We think about the future and make it a strategic, planning and technical reality. As a talent factory for engineers, we focus on a close integration of theory and practice in our degree programmes. Small learning groups enable intensive study - at Lower Saxony's largest university. We specialise in teaching and research: Energy, buildings, neighbourhoods, environment, biotechnology and business.

About the faculty

Thinking the Future

Welcome to the fascinating and diverse world of supply technology. We are far more than just the pipes in the building wall that have to function on demand. With our degree programmes, we train young people at the interface between politics, society and technical feasibility.

New objectives in climate change resilience and sustainability require the development of new technologies and strategies. This means, for example, planning building technology with the lowest possible energy consumption, utilising environmental and waste heat for heating systems and industrial processes, developing renewable energy sources through waste treatment processes, reducing greenhouse gases while incorporating effective immission control, and creating urban strategies for sustainable urban development with the aid of smart technologies.

Education at our faculty is practical and personalised in our state-of-the-art laboratories and lecture halls as well as in real-world laboratories in the heart of our cities - supported by a dedicated faculty team of lecturers, academic staff and administrative staff who provide our students with individual support and help them on their path to the future.
