Wolfsburg
Automotive engineering, healthcare and business – the three faculties at Ostfalia University's Wolfsburg campus reflect the key areas of focus in the city and region. At the headquarters of the Volkswagen Group, issues of mobility and economics naturally play a central role. But the city in south-eastern Lower Saxony is also a top destination for healthcare professions. A total of around 2,400 Ostfalia students are enrolled in Wolfsburg.

City of Wolfsburg
Many people associate the city of Wolfsburg (external link, opens in a new window) with the term “Autostadt” (external link, opens in a new window) (car city) and the VW Group (external link, opens in a new window). Wolfsburg is undoubtedly one of Germany's most important economic centers. But anyone who associates it with gray industrial regions is mistaken. Wolfsburg is a young, dynamic city with a high quality of life and a wide range of cultural, sporting, and leisure activities. These include, for example, the Hallenbad cultural center, the planetarium, the art museum, the huge phæno experimental landscape, and the Allersee lake, which is ideal for water sports, inline skating, or relaxing on the beach.
