We are the RoboCup team of the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences.
RoboCup team "WF-Wolfes"
Ostfalia's RoboCup team"WF Wolves (external link, opens in a new window)" is part of the global RoboCup organisation, which has set itself the goal of beating the reigning human football world champion in 2050 using football robots. Research here focuses on robotics, image processing and artificial intelligence (AI). Our team has already been crowned world champion twice in the associated robot football championships (external link, opens in a new window)!
The big events in 2025 are
- RoboCup German Open from 12-16 March 2025 in Nuremberg
- RoboCup World Championship from 15-21 July 2025 in Salvador (Brazil)

- in Wolfenbüttel, 17-21 July 2023 - two successes (including TV coverage) for students from the Faculty of Computer Science:
a third place for the "WF Wolves" and a first place for the "Ostfalia Cup". - in Brazil, 05-09 August 2024
- in South Korea, 2025
