You can take the following modules as self-study courses:
- Module 1: Introduction to Vocational Education and Training (5 CP): Basic concepts of vocational education and training and theories and conditions of learning in vocational education and training
- Module 2: Introduction to the didactics and methodology of vocational education and training (5 CP): Concept and subject matter of didactics and the methodology of teaching and learning arrangements in vocational education and training
Module 3: Introduction to curriculum development and learning location design in vocational education and training (5 CP): Tasks of teachers and basic forms of pedagogical action; basics of planning and designing teaching and learning arrangements Basics and framework conditions of curriculum development.
Module 4: Teaching/learning situations at the place of learning practice" and "Teaching/learning situations in educational institutions (10 CP)
Enrolment in the course is free of charge. Fees of EUR 500 per module are only charged for the acquisition of credit points and will only be invoiced after submission of the examination results.
Participation requirements
The "Self-study courses in vocational education" can be used to acquire any missing vocational education credits for the Master's degree programme "Vocational Education for Health Professions M.A." (external link, opens in a new window).
The application deadline for the Master's degree in Vocational Education for Healthcare Professions is 15 January of each year. If you would like to use the ECTS for your application, the examination results for the self-study courses must be submitted by 15 December of the previous year.
