ChanGeS - Equal opportunities in studying!

Equal opportunities means that students with or without disabilities have a fair chance of academic success. But how do students, lecturers and staff at universities master this task? What does it take to give students with disabilities equal access to lifelong learning and higher education?

Digital Forum on Wednesday, 20 November 2024 from 1 to 3 pm

After the opening of the event by Timo Schreiner (Diversity Officer), we will discuss the challenges and opportunities of equal opportunities in higher education with internal and external guests in a moderated panel discussion. Studying with visible and non-visible impairments: Where are the hurdles? What works really well?

In the subsequent open space, we will exchange ideas and collect concrete solutions with you: How can equal opportunities in higher education succeed? All interested parties are welcome to actively participate and report on their own experiences and/or counselling services.

The Zoom link to the event will be sent out in a circular email approximately two weeks before the event.

The discussion will be recorded. Participation is also possible with a nickname/pseudonym. Automatic speech-to-text translation will be available for the panel discussion. We are happy to offer further support if required.
