Prof Dr Udo Wolfgang Becker and Isabel Weibler, LL. M., research assistant at the Faculty of Law, have developed the book "Fälle zum Insolvenzrecht", which has now been published by C.H. Beck in the series Juristische Falllösungen.
The idea for the book arose from teaching practice: students kept asking for suitable practice materials on insolvency law issues - there were hardly any such works available until now. This observation gave rise to the idea of writing a textbook that would present typical insolvency law issues in a practical and didactic way. After around 1.5 years of intensive work, the project was successfully completed.
"Legal training is not only based on theoretical knowledge, but above all on the ability to apply what has been learnt to practical cases. With this textbook, we want to support students in dealing with insolvency law issues in a confident and solution-orientated manner," explains Isabel Weibler.
It is particularly noteworthy that, in addition to a professor, a research assistant was also significantly involved in the publication, who also completed both her Bachelor's and Master's degree at the Faculty of Law - an example of the committed interaction between research, teaching and the promotion of young talent at Ostfalia University.
