The Arbeitgeberverband Region Braunschweig e.V. (AGV), the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences and the Technische Universität Braunschweig are offering companies additional opportunities to recruit skilled workers via the "Stellenticket" portal. While TU Braunschweig has been publishing job offers via the portal since 2019, Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences will also be participating from January 2026. The AGV thus offers its more than 1,000 member companies an efficient way to advertise jobs at both universities at the same time. The aim is to keep students and graduates in the region as highly qualified specialists.
"Stellenticket" is directly integrated into the websites of the universities, giving companies access to the academic target group. Recruiters can create company profiles themselves and post job offers or use a recruitment service. Job seekers can use filters and notifications to narrow down their interests and only receive job offers that are really relevant.
"By cooperating with 'Stellenticket', we are creating another connecting element between science and business for the Braunschweig-Wolfsburg region. Employers can easily and cost-effectively advertise jobs for graduates, working students, final theses and internships on the portal," says Lars Alt, Managing Director of the AGV. He sees a new quality in the cooperation between companies and universities - and new opportunities to promote the close relationship between research, teaching and the world of work in the region.
Prof Arno Kwade, Vice President for Transfer and Innovation at TU Braunschweig, also sees great potential in the cooperation: "With the joint job portal, we are creating a central, digital contact point that connects students and graduates directly with the innovative companies in our region. Through this close partnership, we are combining scientific excellence and business practice. We are convinced that this will provide an impetus for innovation and growth."
Prof. Julia Siegmüller, President of Ostfalia University, also emphasises how valuable the close cooperation between educational institutions and the regional economy is: "As a university of applied sciences, close links with companies are particularly important to us. In addition to specialised knowledge, our graduates also bring valuable experience from our real-world laboratories and practical phases in companies. Particularly in view of the current economic upheavals and the transformation of entire industries, AGV, TU Braunschweig and our university want to play a constructive role and contribute to strengthening the region - ideally by retaining bright minds here."
AGV Managing Director Lars Alt concludes by praising the commitment of TU Braunschweig and Ostfalia: "We can see this: Something is happening in university management. This is also good for the regional economy. Silo thinking does not help us and, above all, we need continuity among the contact persons in order to stabilise this successful cooperation."
