Further study orientation programmes
Take Five - Coaching
The "Take Five" coaching programme from the Koordinierungsstelle für Studieninformation und -beratung in Niedersachsen is also available to support you in your choice of studies: five weeks, five key topics from gathering information to applying, simple methods to try out and lots of tips and contacts.
Interest tests
These tests rely heavily on your own self-reflection. In order to clearly reflect your abilities and interests, such a test must be carried out conscientiously. So be absolutely honest with yourself. The OSA portal provides an overview of existing interest tests:

Aptitude test for individual study programmes
Some universities also offer special aptitude tests for individual degree programmes or subject areas. These offer the opportunity to find out whether your skills match the challenges of the degree programme. A list of these subject-specific aptitude tests can be found on the OSA portal:

Portal "MINT - Studying with perspective"
The Lower Saxony-wide portal "MINT in Niedersachsen" offers a wide range of information about MINT degree programmes. This includes information videos from the fields of computer science, technology and engineering, for which Ostfalia has exciting degree programmes.
Engineering region - Portal for prospective engineers
What exactly is an engineer? Without them, there would be no bridges, no cars, no fridges or computers. The project ingenieurregion.de offers a lot of exciting information in the form of interviews, podcasts etc. on the subject of becoming an engineer.

Experience university live

The best way to get a feel for studying is to experience a university live - whether it's looking into a lab, attending a real lecture or simply exploring the campus. This is how you quickly realise whether the atmosphere is right and whether you can imagine studying there.
The Central Student Advisory Service (ZSB) organises school visits for interested schools. In addition, we organise our annual university information days "Studying under the magnifying glass" and offer many other events (also for individuals) to get to know the university personally.
