Central welcome event for first-year students

On 21 September, the central freshers’ welcome will take place at all four Ostfalia campuses. There, you’ll receive important information to help you get started with your studies, meet fellow students and programme coordinators, and familiarise yourself with the facilities on your campus.

Suderburg

• 8.30–9.00 am: Registration at the Welcome Desk in the canteen foyer
• 9.00 am: Semester breakfast in the canteen
• 2.30 pm: End of the official part of the event, get-together

Salzgitter

• 10.00 – 11.00: Official welcome
• 11.30 am – 1 pm: Introductory session for your degree programme

Wolfsburg

• From 8.00 am: Check-in at the Welcome Point in front of Building D
• 9.30 am: formal welcome for first-year students, followed by the faculty programme
• 1 pm: lunch break
• until 3.30 pm: Faculty programme

Wolfenbüttel

• 9.00–10.00 am: Welcome for students from the Faculties of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Social Work in the auditorium
• 10.00–11.00 am: Welcome for students from the Faculties of Supply Engineering, Computer Science and Law in the auditorium
• until 1.00 pm: Campus tours, hands-on activities & photo booth
