Practical and flexible

Case studies are integrated throughout the course, in which you work on practical tasks together and often in cooperation with regional healthcare organisations. The 13-week practical phase in the final year of the programme allows you to apply the knowledge you have acquired directly in a healthcare institution.

Blended learning with online and attendance phases helps you to combine your studies with work or family commitments and supports your self-directed, practical learning.

Career prospects

This degree programme will qualify you for specialist and management roles in the healthcare sector, in particular for the management of facilities such as hospitals, care facilities, health insurance companies and service providers in the healthcare sector.

The course will enable you to analyse business and health economic problems, develop practical solution strategies and make responsible decisions.

It is also possible to work in management consultancy, for associations or in projects relating to healthcare and healthcare policy.
