The different programming paradigms of C++
The lecture "The different programming paradigms of C++" by Prof. Helmke gives an introduction to the programming language C++, which is the second most important programming language worldwide according to the Tiobe Index (external link, opens in a new window) (Tiobe Programming Languages Usage Index, as of August 2025).
The lecture takes place according to the timetable. In the winter semester 2025/26, the lecture will take place on Fridays in the first and second block, starting on 26th September 2025 and is intended for Master's students. If there are enough places available, Bachelor's students may also attend. Consultation with the examination board is strongly recommended in order to clarify the conditions for credit transfer at an early stage
The lecture is intended as a face-to-face event.
A short email to hartmut.helmke(at)dlr.de (opens your email program)stating that you are planning to attend the event and whether you have your own laptop with a C++ compiler (which environment Win11, Mac, Apple, Eclipse Visual Studio, ...) would make it much easier for me to prepare (before the event). Visual Studio 2022 is clearly preferred and is also used by myself in the lecture.
Student work at DLR
