Study contents

  • Economics and human resource management:
    • Strategic and operational corporate management
    • Strategic organisational tasks in personnel management, also internationally
    • optional*: Two-semester consultancy project, ideally in cooperation with regional companies or organisations
  • Law:
    • Conflict resolution in labour law
    • Structure and limits in labour law
    • International labour law
    • Corporate governance, corporate social responsibility and business ethics and their legal framework conditions
    • optional*: two-semester "Moot Court" project
  • Personnel Psychology:
    • Psychological challenges in the changing world of work
    • optional*: two-semester research project, sometimes in collaboration with regional companies or organisations

Admission requirements

  • business (oriented), law (oriented) or business law-oriented university degree (Bachelor or Diplom) with a standard period of study of 7 semesters or 210 credit points or an equivalent degree including 12 credit points from courses in the field of law, this including 2 credit points in labour law
  • In the case of enrolment with 180 credit points, the missing 30 credit points must be completed within one year of enrolment
  • language of instruction: German
