Ostfalia teaching awards ceremony and workshop on "Teaching and learning in Scale-UP rooms"

Note: The event is only open to Ostfalia lecturers.

On Wednesday, 3 June 2026, the focus will be on "Teaching and Learning in Scale-UP Spaces" at the Wolfsburg site. In addition to the presentation of the Ostfalia Teaching Awards, you can expect a keynote speech and a workshop on "Teaching and learning in Scale-UP spaces" with Prof. Dr Claudia Schäfle (Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences).

Programme

10:00 a.m.: Arrival and exchange with hot and cold drinks

10:30 a.m.: Welcome and honours - presentation of the Lower Saxony State Certificate for University Teaching and the Ostfalia Teaching Award

11:00 a.m.: Keynote speech by Prof. Dr Claudia Schäfle: Teaching and learning in Scale-UP rooms

12:00 p.m.: Lunch together

13:00: Campus tours in guided groups - get to know special learning locations such as the SimLab, automotive engineering laboratories or existing Scale-UP rooms at the Wolfsburg campus

14:45: Get together with coffee and cake

15:00: Workshop by Prof. Dr Claudia Schäfle - Experience the practical work in Scale-UP rooms.

16:00: Closing
